ARCHITECTURE

Design of all sizes of Residential, Commercial and Public Sector Buildings. This includes new build or refurbishment schemes, single and two storey extensions, conservatories and orangeries, loft conversions and internal alterations; Change of Use and fit-out of retail and commercial premises and public sector experience including offices, churches, hospices and health care properties.

CONSERVATION WORK

Conservation, restoration, alteration or extension of historic properties requiring a Listed Building Consent.

PLANNING APPLICATIONS

Advice on District Council Planning Policy, including Permitted Development and projects in Green Belt and Conservation Areas. Submission of a Planning Application and/or a Listed Building Consent to the Local Authority and working with the Planning Case Officer towards gaining an Approval.

BUILDING REGULATIONS

Preparation of working drawings information for a Building Control submission to either the Local Authority or an Approved Inspector and liaison with the Building Officer to gain a Building Regulations Approval.

LANDSCAPING

Design of inspirational gardens to compliment any building externally and occasionally internally using tactile materials, natural, flowing lines and variable levels using hard and soft landscaping.

INTERIORS

Preparation of mood boards and colour palettes, hard and soft finishes and fixed furnishings design. Interiors are an integral part of any design, the right furniture, the right colours and layout are all critical to producing the impact a client may require.

BUILDING SURVEYING

Detailed measured building and photographic surveys for the preparation of existing premises drawings.

LEAD DESIGN CONSULTANT

Coordinating the design with input from other Consultants including overseeing appointment of Structural Engineers, Energy Consultants and other designers.

CONTRACT ADMINISTRATION

Reviewing Contractor tenders and Contract Award, providing site inspections, Contractor Valuations and Architects Certificates and acting as liaison between Client and Contractor during the construction process to completion.

THREE DIMENSIONAL VISUALISATION

As well as 2D computer aided design drawings, we can prepare 3D computer models with a external views of a proposal or a walk-through movie to help explain a design more clearly.
